Abstract

The paper proposes a mathematical model based on the description of cause and effect relationships between risk factors and a specific diagnosis, which are presented in the form of expressions that are convenient for formalization with the help of fuzzy logic, which allows for comprehensive diagnosis of the retina and macular diagnosis. The criteria for the classification of stages of diabetic macular edema, which allow to combine the main features of the disease, taking into account the anatomical and functional results of modern methods of diagnosis, have been formed.
