Abstract

The article is an inquiry into a possibility of creating photonic logic elements on the basis of spatial mode interference in phase-synchronized laser arrays with two vertically coupled optical resonators. Implementation of the suggested approach will allow creation of photonic logic elements that do not require photovoltaic and electron-optical transformations, which can completely replace the currently existing functional analogs of electronic and optoelectronic logical schemes.
